how do i make the keyboard discoverable other than to turn it on.

My new MacBook does not recognize my bluetooth keyboard. Any ideas on how to fix this.

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

Hello:

Try resetting the PRAM and SMC.

I fixed it. I realized it was paired with the other MacBook that was nearby. Oops.
