Is there any way to use bluetooth to transfer photos from iPhone 4 to non apple devices?

I am using an Iphone 4 and wanted to understand if it is anyway possible to send photos from my Iphone to my Blackberry via bluetooth directly. It seems a pretty basic phone feature is missing.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

I'm here to help apple users like myself and if you preferred Android, then by all means go for it.

It's a common knowledge that you/we are not Google customers. We are Google assets (using baits like Google+, Gmail. etc to lure us in). No businesses can survive giving out free stuff. I preferred to pay for services I use bcause good work should get paid.

My intention is not to post rude remarks, just trying to understands how the iphone works. I have always used android before and now I have an iphone from work, which is making my life very difficult as I used to connect my phone to the computer (when I'm in the office), even with my old nokia. I also used my gmail all the time but from the iphone it's not that easy to use it. I also missing the swype, which was very quick to write on the android. I'm not saying apple should do all for free, but allow people to integrate the phone a bit better. Google does not all for free, but I like the mentallity of making big users to pay more to support small users, to me this it's pretty fair.

I think apple products are masing, but the way Apple works is not helping them. The have done the same with the computers in the 80's, and many people who uses Apple everyday, only do it for ignorance, as they do not even know that something else exists, when this changes, Apple will go down, not disappering, but reducing the market share, it's a pain because they have very nice products. I'm not in favour of Androind either, nothing it's perfect, but Google has demostrated some very good ideas, and still google chrome is the best broweser, even in the iphone, so apple people should give some credits to Google too.

You are lucky to have an iPhone from work, I've to pay for it myself. I use GMail as well and I don't see why it's difficult for you? I think the iPhone is very well intregated and l like it that way, I don't want any nastiness which Android have. I just don't want extra work, I want it to just work.

Windows is known to copy Apple during the 80s/90s and most bought it because it was cheap. I also did that. I also start building my own work horses and was very good at it.

Google only good idea is search but that is slowly getting bad. Google is now the new Microsoft.

Anyway, as I've said, do whatever is good for you since this is not an opinion forum, I leave it at that.

Google is the new microsoft but a lot smarter and the products just work, like google maps, earth, docs, sketchup, picasa, talk, gmail, chrome, self driving car.....

Yes, they know nothing, you right.

Microsoft had the whole monopoly and didn't know what to do, I hope Apple can learn from other's mistakes.

My wife has the Galaxy III and I can find any nastiness, she has swype, the camera has too many options and the bluetooth works very well. she also has de 32gb micro SD card, which hasn't use it much, but it's there.

No one's laughing at you, not me at least. You make perfect sense. I'm not sure why people are getting weird and defensive about your question.

To shed some light on it for everyone else -- all of the "better" methods you are suggesting require the use of data or MMS, which cost money. It is indeed strange there is not a straightforward free method to move a pic. from your phone to computer.

ckuan, like most here, is here to help. It makes his job difficult when people spam about crapdroid or post rude remarks.

I think you'll find it's called Android

People like you are first to jump it and Lynch people if they dare to bad mouth any Apple product by calling it Crapple or Posting "rude remarks" as you put it but don't think anything of doing the same to other devices

BTW I've used Android, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone, iOS, Symbian etc so I think I can comment on this fairly without being biased to one platform
