Using Safari to arrive at the 'Find my phone' page

I have ios5 and icloud enabled on my three devices with 'Find my phone' enabled on all three.

I can log into icloud.com from my PC and locate my devices without any problem but if I try to log into icloud using Safari from any of the devices all I can get is the page giving options to 'Install find my Phone, or Find my friends and option to go to the 'find my phone' page.

Can any kind soul here please tell me how to get into icloud > locate my phone when using Safari from an io5 enabled device?

You don't (and can't) use Safari to access Find my iPhone from an iOS device. Use the free Fibd my iPhone app from the AppStore.

There is a link to it on the screen you are presented with in Safari when accessing iCloud.com.

So if, as is the case, Find my iphone is installed and active on all three devices are you saying that it is not possible to try and locate any device using Safari> icloud.com?

From my PC using icloud.com I am taken to a page that has (amongst other things) an icon to 'Locate my phone' and this takes me to the map with the location, whereas usiing Safari > icloud.com I get a page with options to:

Set up icloud on this device

Install Find my iPhone

Install Find my friends'

I was under the impression that 'Find my iPhone' could be used to locate the device from any device that has ios5 installed, i.e to locate a device from an iphone, ipod or iphone by using the Safari browser.

To locate another iOS 5 device from an iOS 5 device you use the free "Find my iPhone" app - not the iCloud website.

The "Find my iPhone" app does not need to be installed on a device for that device to be locatable. The Find my iPhone service needs to be setup and active on the device. The app is purely for locating another device from the device the app is installed upon.

As mentioned, you cannot access the iCloud.com website using Safari on an iOS device.

Just install the free app, downloaded from the AppStore and you'll see.
