Launchpad Icon disappear

I am using Imac 21" but i recently find that the launchpad icon has been disappeared from the dock. I recall that i have never deleted it. In fact, the launchpad is very useful for me.

How can i reinstall the launchpad icon on the dock?

Go to Applications folder, and drag the Launchpad icon to the dock.

The actual app will stay in the applications folder, but a link to it will be placed in the dock.
