Q: Backlight on my monitor on my new iMac is darker on left side. Anything I can do about this or does it need a repair

My 27 inch monitor is darker on the left half of my screen than the right. What can I do about this?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7)

Being that it's new I would definately contact Apple.

There is nothing you personnally can do to correct that. Assuming you are still under Warranty, take it into Apple for their free repair.
