If a link doesn't appear in an email from Apple, I'm sure the issue has something do with your browser Java?settings configuration? Maybe an update? It cant be that Apple just "forgot" to add link into your email.

Look into OS updates for your computer. I know I was just promptd with OS and security updates for my Mac. I'm not using my laptop for internet which is a Windows XP, but I'm sure there are some updates waiting for me from Windows.

In Safari preferences click "Security" and make sure you enable "Java, plug-in's,javascript".

If you go into Finder select "Applications" find "Utilties Folder" and then "Java Preferences" checkmark "Enable applet plug-in and web start applications". Make sure the available Java applciations are selected as well.

Windows users: Sorry, I will still look into this, but I found a link for Java web support that might help you find Java settings.

No matter what, there is no possible way this any fault of the sender(Apple). Check all email programs or application preferences to ensure you are able to view links within your email properly. I'm very sorry as I not a tech wizard, I've just been around the block a few times, I personally experienced this issue and though I cannot remember the exact fix, I know a collegue of mine simply made a few adjusts on my computer in the prefeences of eitther my OS or web brower.

Another option. How about contacting iTunes Store Support telling them you simply forgot your password and you can't reset it using iForgot.com and then have iTunes Store Support reset your account password, so you can reset the account and sign in with the new password they give you???? sounds like a good work around? Just look up iTunes Store Support contact info on the web. Or you can simply "Report a Problem" from a purchase in your account purchase history.

To review your iTunes Store account's purchase history, follow the steps in this article:

I hope this helps everybody look in the right direction to solve this issue and again, this definitely isn't something the sender of the email can fix.
