I'm trying to add Lexmark T640 printer which is wire connected to my network. It shows up OK on the list of printers, but I get error -30886 when selecting the driver. It won't let me use the automatic selection either.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Are you using IPP or LPD? IPP usually gives better results, if activated at the printer. As for automatic driver selection, it normally doesn't work thru TCP/IP, only thru AppleTalk. So you have to scroll down and look for the specific model. If not there, make sure you don't have a "Lexmark Printer Drivers Update" pending to install on System Update. Or visit the Lexmark.com site and download the drivers file to install.
