How do I transfer clips from Sony SXS card that has been copied to hard drive?

Hello

A camer person has copied the contents of their cards to a hard drive without using Log and Transfer to ingest.

I can't find a way of getting Log and Transfer to read the contents of the folders.

Is there a way I can transfer the footage into FCP or is there an app to transcode it into a useable format?

Please help!

Footage shot on Sony EX1. SxS cards. Using FCP7.

Do you have the Sony XDCam EX Log and Transfer Utility installed?

Just make sure that you have the entire folder labelled 'BPAV' with all of its contents otherwise you won't be able to import anything. Just point the XDCAM transfer tool at the folder and off you go ...
