Q: Shareing playlist between 2 users on one iMac

It has only been recently that music downloaded by one user does not show up on music library when viewed by second user. This means second user can not drag that new music to her own playlist when on her own profile.

Feb 26, 2012 11:09 AMby Limnos,HelpfulDon't confuse media and library. The library is actually one database file which is what you see when you open iTunes. Music added to iTunes is entered in the library file database, pointing to media files. If you truly had one library then both of you would see the identical content right down to the last detail. Since you don't you probably have two library files with different database content pointing to the same media files (except where some of that media hasn't been entered into to the second database).
