Q: Airport Express Extended WiFi

Hi

Before I'd purchased my Airport Express I'd get a reduced wifi signal in my bedroom, I'd get two bars on my iPhone 4S. I'd bought an Airport Express to extend my wifi range. I've set it up to join my exsisting network and extend the wifi range. I'm still only getting two bars on my iPhone 4S in the same spots before I bought it. One of the spots where I still only get two bars on wifi signal on my iPhone 4S is less that one metre away from where the Airport Express is plugged in. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Thanks

I hope you experts could help me.  My network configuration is a Time Capsule (3rd Gen, the latest), two Airport Express (the latest too) and one old Airport Extreme (2009, with a preliminary 802.11n).  The issues I have with my all Apple WiFi network are:

    - No matter how close I am next to my closest Air Express (called "Tiny Stack", which has "Excellent" connection), my devices are still connected to the farther one (called "Nano Stack", which has also "Excellent" connection).

    - The old Airport Extreme is also connected to the fartherst "Nano Stack" and has only a "Good" connection.

I am hoping the network will connect according to the distance and placement in my house.  The ideal connection would be "Big Stack" -> "Nano Stack" -> "Tiny Stack" -> "Short Stack", as this is how the WiFi APs are placed.

I tried interchanging the Tiny Stack and the Nano Stack.  The result is the same.  Somehow the one closer to the Big Stack always takes precedence and become the dominant one.

    Thanks.
