User Event Agent has been taken up a lot of real memory and keep growing and take a lot of CPU usage. Is this related to the fact that the comp. gets extremly slow or compeltely irresponsive?

OK, that is not quite it. What I am looking for is the process that looks like this - UserEventAgent, not System UI server.

Double - click that. It will open a window with a button labeled "open files and ports". That is what I am interested in. Post the contents of that window here. It will look a lot like this:

Hi. I have the same problem on my MacBook Pro + Lion 10.7.3. Since the process requires much memory and swap, the machine gets very slow. I guess that the reason of beach boall and full of startup disk problems reported by verfeder are caused by the large swap.
Does anyone have a solution?
Even if I kill the process, it restarts again and again. The memory usage goes more than 5 GB within 10 minutes.
