Facetime startup issue?

Facetime startup issue?

I cannot get on Facetime. I set it up, Apple sends a verification email but there is no link in the email to click on. Solutions?

FaceTime is accessed thru the Contacts app. It's in the user guide.

I cannot get to the add contacts part. It wants me to verify my account, so I do that. It sends an email, but there is no link in the email beside the "verify now." I seem to still be hung up on that.
