Microsoft internet explorer for Mac OS X Lion?

my question: is there currently a version of internet explorer that is available for Mac OS X Lion?

I currently live in China where most corporate websites are not compatible with safari.

for me to be able to use some features of these websites (say online banking), I will need to use Microsoft's ie (unfortunately)

if you have encountered this problem before, your help is much appreciated 🙂!

VirtualBox is free. You have to provide your own full version retail copy of Windows 7.

Not sure what the article means by, "Internet Explorer testing virtual machines from Microsoft". A very basic structure of Windows that essentially only runs IE?

As Csound1 noted though, circumventing the lock as very unlikely to be legal.

Sure it sounds a bit dubious but the solution is meant for testing webpages in IE. It sounds a bit over the top to buy a Windows license only because you have to use Internet Explorer. It is already stupid that Microsoft doesn't provide an IE version for OSX or Linux while, on the other hand, you can download Safari for Windows (for free).

But you are not 'testing' and you would be avoiding the licensing restrictions in order to avoid paying for one, what do you call that?
