can't turn off iphone 4s

suddenly i can't turn off my iphone 4s. when i slide the power off bar, it just restart the phone automatically. in the meantime system drain a lot of battery about 15% per hour. does anyone has any idea about this?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1

Try this.. You will Not Lose Any Data...


Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...


Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...


Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)


Release the Buttons...

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

It is OK now. I took it to Apple. They told me they cleaned the connector and plug and claimed they could not find the problem I mentioned. But I am not sure what they really did. when it came back to me, I found everything is OK. I know this is not helpful for you, but I STRONGLY suggest you to take it to Apple. They may find a way out of this.
