1TB Hard drive replacement for early PowerMac G5 ?
I have a Powermac G5 DUAL 2GB think its 2004 and am looking to replace my internal hard drive which is full. I previously upgraded this a couple of years ago to a Western Digital Caviar 500gb S300 16mb.
This make doesnt seem to exist in 1tb version and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good SATA2 drive to upgrade to (S300). I dont understand the jumper thing so would prefer a disc I can just plug in and use straight away. I have carbon copy cloner so my intention is to clone the main drive to the new on then use the main drive as a storage drive.
Any hints or tips on best drives and best practice would be appreciated.
Thank
