i tried what you suggested and it didn't work. I want to load music from my windows media player to my ipad. have any suggestions?
You will have to download iTunes, get the music from your Windows
multimedia player into iTunes, and then connect your iPad to the PC
so iTunes can sync the music.
do you know how i can get it from my media player to itunes?
I don't know if the menu is the same on a PC, but on a Mac you
go to File, choose Add to Library from drop down and point it at
where your music is. If you point to the correct location, iTunes
should be able to handle the import - which may take a while depending
on the size of your music collection. Try MyMusic first, then search
for files ending in .mp3 if your music is not in MyMusic.
how do you know if it is down loading or transfering to my itunes player?
If the music was purchased from a store, other than iTunes or amazon, it is most likely copy protected and cannot be played by iTunes or any iOS device.
If it is being copied by iTunes, you will get a pop up window showing the progress
Just Make sure it is MP3 format and itunes will take the files just check music section of your itunes
it didn't work at all. my files did not transfer.
Where did this music come from - I don't mean Windows Media Player - I mean where did it come from originally?
This might be helpful.
i down loaded it from froswire.
is a bittorrent site so after you downloaded them did you unzip the files to turn then into mp3
I'm pretty sure that those songs would not be considered legal downloads from my limited knowledge of FrostWire. If that is a p2p site - those are other users "sharing" music and you do not have the right to that music. You didn't buy it so ....
it was music that other people were sharing. no i didn't buy the music.
