Must quit iChat to end Screen Sharing Session

Just recently our employees have had to quit iChat in order to end a screen sharing session. We are on 10.7.3. The interlocking rectangle menu item does nothing. Any ideas?

HI,

I was Screen Sharing from Message beta to someone the other day and I can normally end the chat by clicking their red Squares.

However this did not work and it took repeated attempts by the person themselves.

One issue may have been that his end was doing a Time Machine backup and the whole Screen Share was slow and jumpy.

CMD and ESC together are also supposed to end the Screen Share.
