Using Clamshell on Battery
Is there a way to go into Clamshell mode without de power source connected, running only on battery? Whenever I try doint that My Macbook Air goes into "sleep" mode.

Clamshell mode is only designed to operate on AC power. This is designed to protect the notebook from accidental engagement while packed in a bag.
