wi-fi will not stay connected on iPad

wi-fi will connect when forced to

3G works

sometimes askes for password

connects but then disconnects

or appears connected but is not actually functioning

I was at the Apple store today, as the pad had become all hung up, it is fully reset and has a brand new sim card as well just in case

I tried all the Apple troubleshooting that I seemed pertinent (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398), nothing is working

router is recently new (Bell), firmware is current to best of my knowledge, all software is updated

can they fix it back at the Apple store away from my router or can someone help me here - PLEASE!

Additional things to try.

Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.
