Ipod screen is freezing

My Ipod classic's screen keeps freezing all the time!!! I bought it for like a week ago, and now, for the second time the sceen is freezing. The light is on, I can see my playlist, I hear no music and I can't do anything. I've pushed every button but nothing helps. It's like it's unconscious.WHY????!? Anybody?

Hard Reset the iPod as below- this does not delete or erase any song or data.

Make sure you have charge your battery for at least 2 hours.
Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the next step
Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs till the Apple Logo comes ON
Then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.
