Font Troubles

I've stupidly downloaded 2000 fonts at the same time and now I'm unable to open the Font Book without it crashing everytime.

What can I do to resolve this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Remove the 2000 fonts out of the Fonts folder(s).

Read Kurt Lang's paper on font management.
