Global change

In Numbers is there a way to globally (entire selection) change say all 4s to 5s? IV to V?

Adding to Yvan's comments:

You could:

  • Make the selection.
  • Copy
  • Insert a new Sheet (and it's default table)
  • Click on the top left regular cell in the table (usually B2)
  • Paste
  • Do the "Find" and "Replace All" as shown here (English language/Roman numeral version of Yvan's image)
    User uploaded file
  • Close Find/Replace
  • Select the cells containing the results
  • Click the icon of the source table, then click the top left cell of the cells that were selected.
  • Go Edit > Paste and Match Style (to preserve any formatting done in these cells).
  • When all is done, you can delete the added sheet and it's table.

Barry
