SMB Share permissions bug with Lion OS
Using connect to server in Finder, I can specify a share, e.g. smb://10.0.1.2/home , to my local file server and get a connection, but cannot access the share. I get the following error message: "The folder “home” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents." This is despite the fact that the exact same connection with OS X 10.6.8 and various other OS and devices all connect flawlessly. Have been able to reproduce the error on 2 different computers with OS X 10.7.2
Is there a workaround for this bug?
