All documents in pages are now filled with only blank pages

When I went to open a document that I use every day, the page is blank, and all are of the rest of my hundreds of documents are also blank, but the page and word counter on the bottom looks correct, for instance it will say 3 of 8 pages, 4 of 8 pages, etc. as I scroll down the blank pages and it also looks like the word count is correct. Also, when I switched to full page, the screen went from total white to total black but when I switched back, I saw the words of the document but only for a split second. Help, please!
