(A matter that caused troubles on going to a foto laboratory)
Copying a folder to an Foto-Card or USB-Stick generates additional files with names like the originals plus a ._ in front of the name. and permissions -rwxrwxrwx
Is this a feature? How to prevent?

Files starting with ._ in FAT32 on a non-Mac device = Mac resource forks of files. Mac files have/had two parts to the file. A data fork which contained the actual data, and a resource fork which stored information used to open the file on Macs (e.g., which application to use). I thought this was just older ones but maybe still with OSX.
This is a long-standing issue with presenting Mac files on non-Mac platforms.
It's likely those extra forks/files are essentially empty and can be deleted. There are utilities out there for deleting them but I can't remember the OS requirements.

Interesting, it was a strong concept though with difficults on transferring files.
I see this and *have troubles* on an older OSX machine ~ 10.3. on copying fotos to a fotocard (with finder).

😉 Now the matter is quite clear to me, it was a theme at the MacOS time and at the transition to OSX, but forgotten in the meantime…
The only one task is to see and to operate (delete) the files before going to the shop, with your first post I am prepared better.
I tried to search for dot files with terminal, though I am not trained well on it.
