WHY DOES ITUNES SAY MY IPOD IS FULL

Itunes is saying that i only have 2.61GB in songs on my IPOD and yet the overall line right above that says i have 3.73GB used. i havent added anything but songs to my IPOD and i was wondering why its like this?
