How to read my iCloud email from another IOS device that belongs to someone else?

The other day I had to check my @me email on my brother's iPad. When I typed icloud.com in the Safari app all I got was a "how to setup icloud". I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up my email account on his iPad just to check my email once on his device. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Thank you!

So in order to read email on someone else's iPad, one must configure that iPad with one's private password so that later on the other party can read ones private messages, and then use the account to take over the other persons identity. Yet one can jump on any computer and connect through the browser. Sorry folks iPads aren't meant to be passed around. If you want to use it, you have own it as the rugged individualist you are. No sharing allowed. And god forbid your girlfriend wants to check her email since its laying there on the sofa and no one is using it at the moment. No she must drag herself to the back room where that old tek beast sits ignored, outdated with updates pending.

I am trying to access my icloud account from the outside such as hotel, work, or other people's comptuers. All I get is the log in and the endless loop of "Learn More" to set up device on an Apple or PC device with downloads and set up the control panel. I give my apple ID and password and always goes to learn more! I can't get into Icloud to just check my email. Other devices that are not mine have all sorts of firewalls to 'set up the device'. How can I access my icloud account anywhere from any device without downloading and setting up on a protected computer. I can get my yahoo from anywhere. Please advise. It is a major pain to not be able to quick check my email from the outside and I DON'T carry my mac book everywhere.

Hi, same happens to me right how. I can't access my mac.com/me.com mail box from my friends iPad. But as you can see, log in to the discussions, that's about all. No purchases of any kind at the Apple stores as well. It seems that the iPad is not meant for sharing. After a very unpleasant experience of documents disappearing in the iCloud and informed

by Apple support that iOS GarageBand is not officially supported in the iCloud, every time we are a bit further from the Apple user experience.

To access my mail on an internet browser on any machine on this planet I must move or forward my account to a

another company. Apple's gone bonzo, time to move on.

Theres a way you can do it ... But sadly, your brother should have a 3rd party browser installed ... I suggest iCab mobile browser ... Its only $2 and the amount of things yu can do with it is endless .. So here are the steps to follow to access ur @me account on ur brothers ipad ..

1. Install iCab Mobile Browser

2. Go to settings with in the app (top-right corner theres a gear icon)

3. Once your in settings scroll down and select Browser ID , then select Firefox 4.0(Windows).

The above step makes icloud.com see as if yu were logging in from a windows PC ..

4. Icloud.com will open and allow yu to sign in .. So now yu can have access to ur mail and notes and find my iphone and etc ..

Works 100% , try it and let me know ... Other things yu can do with icab mobile browser are : download videos , files , upload photos to facebook and much much more ..
