I have just been given an Apple TV

How do I set up my Iphone / Ipad so that I can see my photos and videos on the big screen?

I have set it up with my IMac so I can see photos / ITunes etc, but theres stuff on my Iphone/Ipad I'd like to be able to show off!

Basic instructions please - I'm a novice ;o)
