My iPhone won't send any text messages now. It loads about 95% of the way and then says message send failure. My Internet and phone work just not my text messages. Before this problem occurred I was updating my contacts. Please help!

Can you receive SMS at all?
No. I am unable to send or receive text messages, but I am able to send and recieve iMessages. I tried resetting network settings but it still won't work.
This often happens with my 3Gs, I would suggest trying to message multiple people and try calling another phone. If the call will not proceed, then it is most likely you have been cut off or ran out of credit.
If however, the call is successful, try a hard reset (Hold the lock button and home button until Apple logo appears after turning off.) This is the usual fix with mine.
Other way I find help this, is to turn Airplane mode on, for about 30 seconds or more then proceed to turn airplane mode off. Wait until your signal bars return then try again.

Try resetting your network settings!
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
This will not remove any content from your phone it will just disconnect you and reconnect you to both your 3g network and if you are connected to wifi you will have to enter in your password to reconnect after powering the device back on.

I had a similar problem, I could not send text messages... however this was only to a few contacts... every time they simply failed.... so i tried reseting the phone,,, reseting network settings... same fault..
then i solved it!!
go into the message that failed
next to the failed message to the right is a RED EXCLAMTION MARK
click on the red exclamation mark and press SEND AS TEXT MESSAGE....
you will find this now works!!!!
