Q: Why is my data bill so high after using iCloud

I used up my data allowance half way through the month after starting to use iCloud. Usually it lasts the month easily, is this because of iCloud?

macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPhone 4

Devices automatically push data to the cloud server so it could be.

Also having multiple applications requiring Internet running in your multitasking can cause data usage and having many apps set for push notifications.
