How can I send multiple photos in an email?

In Photos, when looking at your pictures, click the Action arrow first (upper right), before selecting any pictures. Then you can tap select the pictures you want to send then click "Share" in the upper left. From there you can Email.
If you click and open one picture first, the Action button will only allow you to share that one picture.
(Yeah, took me a while to figure this out. 🙂 )

The "Share" button on my iphone 4S is at the bottom left instead of at the upper left.
Also, once you tap select 5 pictures, the "Share" button goes away.
Is 4 pictures the most you can send at one time (by E-Mail). What about by text?

On my 4S it looks like to the limit is 4 photos shared with Mail and 12 photos shared via iMessage.
So iMessage would be the better bet if available to you.
