BTW, as a side note and trivia, if you remove the charger's built-in plug (which Apple calls the "duck head") and don't have the AC cord extension at hand cause it was lost or misplaced, in a pinch you can use any standard computer power cord that ends it what's called a "figure-8 plug":

Would be the same if you were using the duck head and plugged the charger one way or the other; the blades are both the same width and not polarized. Only thing that may be amiss if you used a regular figure-8 cable instead of the official grounded AC cord would be the round ground connector on the wall plug, which goes to the metal button on the charger:
