Hi guys, sometimes my iPad 2shows a black screen with a QuickTime logo when I want to watch a YouTube video, the sound is fine but there's no video, and I'm using safari to access YouTube not the YouTube app. Can someone please help me , I have to refresh the page so everything would be ok .
Using Safari can be hit or miss with YouTube, which is why YT developed the YT app, to ensure that the correct video type gets called up for your to view. No one can help you solve this other than advising you to use the app designed to eliminate the issue.
thanx for the quick reply. ive had the ipad 2 32gb wifi and 3g for 3 months now and this started happening like a week ago , has anyone experienced what i im dealing with? the apple store specialist suggested that i restore the ipad via itunes. and the youtube app doesnt view videos and sort them by upload date but i can do that using safari to access youtube.
