How to rejoin a cut clip back up in FCPX?

Hi there

I want to join the highlighted clip back up to the clip on the rhs.

How do I do this please? I dont want to have the cut in it.

I cannot simply press UNDO as I have no idea how far back I made this cut.

In case it matters this is a multicam clip.

Thanks

I am about to answer my own question.

Here is a work around to extend it out instead.

Highlight footage to the left hand side (already highlighted on my above image) of what you wanted to rejoin

CMD+ALT+UP arrow

This will move it up.

Drag out the clip using snap to the end of the footage on the RHS.

CMD+ALT+DOWN arrow

to drop it back in

Then delete the lower footage.

I hope this helps someone else.
