I have only this week moved over from Blackberry to iphone. I am wondering how I can save pictures from my safari to my camera roll? I dont want to take a scrren print as it will have my battery and network provider in the picture. I have looked at a few forums and they say something about placing one finger on the picture and holding until a pop up appears with the option to save.....not working.

I just saved a photo by touching the photo................and getting the pop up with the option to save. Suggest you try it again. It works every time for me.
I have tried it now with random images and it works but not on Facebook and that is what I mainly want it for. Are you able to do it on your Facebook?
Yes, it will work with Facebook photos. Touch the photo...and a full screen photo will appear with an arrow at the upper right corner.....touch the arrow and it will have a "save photo" option. works fine....even better photo quality than when you lift a photo from a web page.
