We have an iMac with Snow Leopard. We can turn our computer on, but we are unable to input our password to access our computer. We tried rebooting system and replaced mouse batterieswith no success. The screen is frozen. Any ideas on how to unlock it?

We have multiple login accounts and can't access any of them. The computer fires up and displays each account login option, but does not prompt a password box anymore. We know the passwords for each login account. We shut down our computer like normal last night and discovered our login issues this morning. Any other ideas what might have caused this?

Did you click the link in the first post I provided? It has information on how to re-set your password, this should be adequate for your needs.

BTW when replying to a post on these forums please click "Reply" in the message you are replying to. Otherwise we cannot tell who you are directing your communication to. Also in the upper right if you want to receive e-mail notifications regarding this thread click where it says "Receive e-mail notifications." This will make getting information much easier for you.
