Can I configure my Verizon MiFi 4510L to accomodate networking and Internet access with or without Airport Express?

Scenario:

Verizon MiFi 4510L used as a "hub" for my wireless internet access for up to 5 devices, including our two iPhone 4 and iMac and MacBookPro (we live in remote area and do not have wired internet access)

Have two USB printers connected to iMac

Want to create a network that allows printing from MacBookPro (and iMac?) wirelessly, and possibly other network file sharing without sacrificing the internet connectivity via the MiFi device.

Have been told if MiFi serves as a router as well as an internet gateway, then this could work (with one printer), but don't know if true or how to accomplish.

Not sure if I have an iMac/MacBook network understanding problem, or the Verizon MiFi, or both...

Also willing to invest in wireless printer if I can understand how the networking issues would be resolved...maybe I don't even need the Airport Express?

(I was better off in the days of punched cards...anyone remember those?)

thanks

iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.7.3), MacBookPro
