Q: Message: "Please Enter Your Original Serial Number"
I have Aperture 3.2.2 running on my Mac Pro. I have in the past purchased Aperture 1, then 2, then 3.
I then did the updgrade to 3.2.2
I have the serial numbers of 1 & 2 and the serial number for the 3.2.2. I have the three install disks but unable to locate the one for 3.0.
Using SuperDuper I have backed up my Mac Pro to my MacBook and the 3.2.2 was duly transferred over.
However, when I try to start Aperture 3.2.2 on my MacBook, I get a window requiring me to enter my serial number.
I enter the serial number I have for the 3.2.2 upgrade, but it is refused and I am asked for the original serial number - which I take
to be the 3.0 ... tried the 1, 2 & 3.2.2 numbers all to no avail.
I can't recall how I installed 3.0 as I have no disks here on file, although it is obvious I couldn't have used the upgrade disk if I didn't
have 3.0 legit on my MacPro.
Tried to contact Apple to straighten this out but unable to get a live person on the line.
Your assistance would be appreciated.
Regards
Ron

Usually you should install Aperture from the original media, but if you do no longer have the install disk, try these links:
