ive forgotten the main security password what you have to put in every time you want to change something or download....i thought i had changed it but its still coming up with the same same thing asking for my old password as the hint, if some one could please help...😍
Select Mac Help from the Finder's Help menu and search for "forgot password."
Thanks kappy, sadly not had mac pro long so i cant find were to re set password thing, looked in a search help thing but couldnt find it..x

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.
