How can one retrieve deleted photos that still exist in a Slideshow?

I deleted a bunch of images used to make a slideshow months ago, (so no time machine) I didn't want these random images clogging my iPhoto.

They still exist in the Slideshow, and I can still zoom them, so they exist somewhere, but Show in Finder options are greyed out.

Any ideas? iPhoto 11 9.2.1
