The files I migrated to my Mac from PC are now locked

I used Migration Assistant to transfer music/vid/photo/doc files to the new computer. When I tried to find them, in the users folder I found a file with a little house icon and my name. Under that was another file named 'owner'. It contained folders for music/photo/vid/docs that I believe are the transferred files. But they are locked and a message comes up saying I don't have permission to open them and that an administrator must do so. I am the 'administrator' of this computer, but I don't know how to open these folders. Thanks, in advance.
