I had purchased a song from iStore and at the time everything seemed alright. Later, when I am playing it the sound is truncated. Now, how do i do re download the song that I have purchased earlier. Please help.

In the event you download Music, Books, TV shows or Applications from the iTunes Store and find the files are unusable, you can simply delete and download them again via iTunes in the Cloud. The iTunes Store gives you the ability to download your past purchases without incurring additional charges as long as what you want to download is shown on your Purchased page.
To enable this feature, you must have the latest version of iTunes. It is available on the Apple website:

Yep it worked. I purchased a song that cut off in the first 30 seconds. I re-downloaded it, and the song now plays all the way through. To the info at the "Downloading past purchases" link, I would add a clarification - under Purchased, you might need to select Songs, then All. There is a little X next to the purchased songs, and I was confused about whether I had to delete the song from there or from my actual iTunes library on the PC to get this to work. I deleted the song in my PC iTunes library, then the download cloud symbol magically appeared next to the song on the Purchased list.
