Q: How can you run this test if you are using a bluetooth keyboard?

My my iMac keeps shutting down and get the following error report:

I have tried running the Intel-based Macs: Apple Hardware Test

 

but I'm struggling to go beyond step 2 (press and hold the D key) because I have a bluetooth keyboard which doesn't switch on until the Mac is on.

 

Can anyone help me?
