We're working on a textbook and have multiple designers working on different parts of the book. We'd like to have each designer work on different chapters simultaneously. We thought we could just use separate iBooks Author files and then combine then but can't find any way to do that. How are others working in a mutli-designer environment?

Pasting does seem to work some of the time. However, positioning of the elements on the page isn't always the way it was when they are copied from the original book. This might be the only option though.
I found that copying only works well if I copy the whole chapter at a time, and not individual pages/sections.
A different workflow may be appropriate. Have different writers and designers work in word processors and graphics programs and they each forward their work to the iBA developer who assembles the individual parts. - Fabe
This is what we're actually doing but we've also been working in separate IBA files. Copying the entire chapter thumbnail and then pasting on a new chapter thumbnail in a different books works like a charm! Thanks Mr. Blobby and everyone that had input.
I am a history teacher and my students are currently creating class iBooks. We are copying and pasting the chapters and everything is coming out fine except for one issue. The glossaries are not transferring over. My kids need to re-create their glossaries and terms. Is anyone else running into this problem or have a solution for it beside copying and pasting their work from one IBA to another.
