If Apple included a delete all selection for the Camera Roll that was inadvertantly selected, some of the habitual whiners that are so prevelent now would have to be committed.

Photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. The common methods I have used for importing photos from a digital camera or from a camera's storage card with a Mac or PC includes an option to erase the photos from the camera or storage card after the import process is complete. There is the delete all option which is not implemented until after all photos are imported so all photos can't be deleted at once by accident or before the import.

For those of you who cant seem to get the select and slide option to work... try these options...

FOR MAC ONLY!!

connect your idevice

open preview

select File > Import from (your Idevice name)

then select all and choose the red circular symbol at the bottom

this will delete all your photos and videos in one go

FOR WINDOWS ONLY!!

connect idevice

open My Computer

find your connected iDevice..open it

go through to view all pics and vids

select all and then delete.

this will delete all in one go.
