When trying to reply or even starting a new email, it rejects the email and places it in the outbox indicating "The recipient [email address] was rejected by the server because it doesn't allow relaying."
I have three different email POP accounts and it happens on all three. I have an Iphone 4S.
Any ideas oin what I can do to remedy?

Check the defaut outgoing smtp server. Usually relaying means that the email is being relayed to your email host through another providers server. Verify that your accout settings are correct for the each of the accounts you are having trouble with.
probably you have wrong SMTP port number.
what are you email host company? is work related or just yahoo or gmail etc..?
I ended up adding the user name and password in the outgoing server settings which showed it being optional.
I did this with all three accounts and the messahes in the outbox automatically went.

port was 587 so it should be ok on my work address. Comcast is set at 25. Should I change that port?
I use 587 and it works fine for me. If you run into problems though, go ahead and try 25.
usually the default port is 25
but for some hosts they use the very common alternative 587.
so, i suppose both will be ok with you, whatever works is ok.

ive tried the same thing with my ipad but for the last 5 minutes it just keeps saying 'verifying' with the spinning circle,
