Why is the apple in the menu bar is pink..
I have no idea why this has happened. I just looked up at my menu bar and the apple was pink. No idea what this means, if it means anything at all.
Thoughts?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
Its been black for months...
What about other Desktop spaces in Mission Control ...
They are all black as well. I dont think this has anything to do with my desktop background or any other settings related to the menu bar, I would have been able to of picked up on that. But I really have no idea about this one nor have been able to find anything similar to it via online searches
Try a Safe Boot (hold Shift key on boot), This will clear some caches and may help.
The Apple logo in Lion is less solid than it was in Snow Leopard and the entire menu bar is a bit more transpartent and takes on the color of your desktop picture.
I think that's what you're noticing.

Did you ever install an Add-On program to change the menu bar color? If you did then something got leftover.
Go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Translucent menu bar and uncheck it.
Just to clarify, the issue has nothing to do with the transparency of my menu bar. Settings have not been changed for awhile and the desktop background image has been black for quite some time. The issue seems to have resolved its self after some time without me doing anything. Rather then a solution to the problem, I am curious to know if anyone can come up with a reason as to why this occured.
My menu bar was pink because it was set to translucent. It would actually change color based on the wallpaper. Thank you iVmichael.
