I have imported an audio book that I got from the library into iTunes 6.0.3. In iTunes the chapters are listed in order, but on my Shuffle the chapters are not. When I have my Shuffle connected to my Mac and I select the Shuffle in the playlist pane I can see that it reads Disc 3, Disc 4, Disc 1, Disc 5, Disc 2 and so on.

Is there a way to resort them in iTunes, so that they are in order?

BTW…I do not have the Shuffle set to "shuffle". I have no songs on the Shuffle, only this book, "The Broker", by John Grisham. And all the iPod updates are current.

I do appreciate any help you can offer.

Thank you.

    Hi Judie,

To set the Audio Book in order in iTunes on create a Separate Playlist in iTunes and drag and drop all the Audio Books to the Playlist. Then click on Track Number column before the Track Name to arrange it in order.

Post back if you have any questions.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to reply, Santo!

I tried your suggestion, but it didn't seem to help, but then I noticed something that I hadn't noticed before. Half of the discs were titled "Disc XXX" and the other half were titled "Disk XXX". (Notice the spelling of "Disc" vs. "Disk".) Once I made the spelling uniform, everything was fine.

    Thanks again!
