The content categories that you get will depend upon where your iTunes account is based. For Turkish accounts (and if your credit card is registered in Turkey you will only be able to use the Turkish store) those are the only categories that you will see, music, films and tv shows are not currently available there (what you can buy where is shown on this page). Are there other film and/or music purchase download sites that you can use ?

The Turkish iTunes Store only sells apps and books. Podcasts and iTunes U content is free.

Thnks for your replys. I am actually disappointed because there is nothing on turkish store. If i create new account and select the country as uk and not put cc,would it work? I haven't tried it yet but will.

King- which film or music download sites do you mean? If you can give me names then l try.

    Thnks

To qualify to make purchases in a specific iTunes store you must meet the qualifications to make the purchases, you must have a bank card from a bank in the same country as the store and the bank card must have a verifiable billing address in that same country.

That would be up to him!

You may have issues if you tried to use a bank card in his name on an Apple ID account in your name.

Yes, that is indeed what the fine print says. However, Apple has never refused my money for a purchase using one of my accounts (US, Mexico), regardless of where my IP said that I was located in the world at that moment!

The content owners do not allow the iTunes Store to sell across country borders, so you must have a credit card and residence in the country whose iTunes Store you wish to use. Since you live in Turkey and have a Turkish credit card, that's the only iTunes Store you can use, and as has been pointed out, Apple has not been able to obtain the rights to sell music, movies and shows there. That's the nature of the entertainment business at this time, where the rights in each country are held by separate entities and hence require completely separate negotiations.

Sorry, but there's nothing you can so about this. You'll need to see if there are download stores in Turkey available to you, and if not you'll need to purchase CDs, DVDs, etc.

    Regards.
