Q: I updated the firmware on an airport express and now the light is solid amber and my base station will not recognize it. What ahold I do?

I uploaded the latest firmware to my airport express and now my system cannot see it and the airport shows a solid yellow light. All was OK before. What cani do to get it working again?

Airport express, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Suggest that you try a Factory Default Reset to see if that will unlock the AirPort Express

Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule FAQ

It may take several attempts. Leave the Express powered off for 5-10 minutes before you attempt another reset.

Once the Express is reset, you can reconfigure it again.
